In April, the Berlin Administrative Court ruled that Ari may remain in public space until at least 28 September. That day is now fast approaching – but our demand remains the same: Ari must stay permanently!

The statue is a symbol against sexualised violence and for the visibility of survivors. If it is removed, it will not only be an attack on the memorial site, but also a repression of violence back into the private sphere.
